About View Church

Our Pastors

In 2021, Pastors Reed and Victoria Sowell heard a distinct call from God to move from their home in California to the PNW and see what He had in store. Their journey to View Church was one of risky faith and prayers answered. Reed and Victoria have been pastors for over 10 years and believe that the best days for the Bride of Christ are ahead. Together, they lead with sincere hearts, love for people, passion for God’s presence, and devotion to His word. They think Sunday is the best day of the week and that the Church is the embodiment of hope to a lost world! Reed and Victoria have two beautiful daughters and believe ministry is a family calling. They can’t wait to see the amazing things God has for View Church!

Our History

View Church, formerly known as Clearview Foursquare, was planted in 1999 in Woodinville, WA. Founding pastors, Paul & Nancy Benson were sent from Mill Creek Foursquare Church. In 2003, Woodinville Foursquare purchased the current building in Clearview with the funds given from the passing away of associate pastor, Ray Hall, and became Clearview Foursquare.

In December 2013, Paul and Nancy Benson passed off the church to Kyle and Kara Veach. In 2019, Clearview Foursquare was rebranded as View Church. In June 2024, the Veach family accepted a new ministry assignment in San Diego, CA. Pastors Reed and Victoria Sowell were appointed and installed as the new Lead Pastors of View Church on July 28th, 2024.

Our Mission

At View Church, we exist to help people FIND and FOLLOW Jesus.

Our Values

  • We desire for everyone in our community to read their Bibles, spend time in prayer, worship regularly, learn from the teaching of the Word, use their spiritual gifts, and mature in their knowledge of God. (Ephesians 3:16–19)

  • Community is cultivated during Sunday gatherings, but also through times at tables, in groups, and in sharing life together. We encourage everyone to cultivate and enjoy real relationships with others at View. (Psalm 133:1)

  • Jesus came not to be served, but to serve, and we model our lives and leadership after His example. We will always serve the Church, our community, our “neighbor,” and the world. (Matthew 20:26–28)

  • Every person has a unique purpose, but we all participate in the same mission. We want to see every individual walking confidently in who God made them to be, alive in their purpose, and overcoming obstacles. (2 Corinthians 4:7)

Our Beliefs

We belong to the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. The Four Squares refers to the four-fold ministry of Jesus Christ: He is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon & Coming King.
